This is an informational translation of the Czech General Terms and Conditions. In the event of any discrepancy, the legally binding version is the Czech original.
1. Introductory Provisions
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (the "GTC") govern the mutual rights and obligations between the platform operator and its users. The GTC are issued in accordance with Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (the "Civil Code"), Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, and other applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic.

1.3. The Platform means the web application available at https://ebbo.events and the related mobile applications (the "Platform"), which provides services in the area of event management, ticket sales, cashless payments, and vendor management.
1.4. The development and publishing of the Platform’s applications — the web application as well as the Ebbo.Events mobile applications available in the App Store and Google Play (for visitors, organizers, vendors, and staff) — is provided by the Operator’s sister company:
EVENT4LIFE s.r.o.

1.4.1. EVENT4LIFE s.r.o. is the exclusive distributor of the Ebbo.Events mobile applications in Google Play and the Apple App Store and is fully licensed to develop and publish the applications for the Ebbo.Events Platform, on the basis of a contractual arrangement with the Operator.
1.4.2. EVENT4LIFE s.r.o. and the Operator (EBBO s.r.o.) are related parties. EVENT4LIFE s.r.o. is responsible for the technical development and publishing of the Platform’s applications; the operation of the Platform, the contractual relationship with Users, and the obligations arising from these GTC are borne by the Operator.
1.5. By using the Platform, registering a user account, or purchasing a ticket, you express your consent to these GTC. If you do not agree with the GTC, do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
Operator — the company EBBO s.r.o., which operates and administers the Ebbo.Events Platform. The Operator acts as a technical intermediary between the Organizer and the Visitor.
Organizer — a natural or legal person who, through the Platform, creates and manages events, sells tickets, and/or uses the cashless payment system. The Organizer is the Visitor’s contractual partner for attendance at the Event.
Visitor (User) — a natural person who, through the Platform, purchases a ticket, registers as an event participant, or uses the Platform’s services as an end user.
Vendor — a self-employed natural person or legal entity who uses the Platform to sell goods and services at events organized through the Platform.
Ticket — an electronic document entitling the Visitor to enter an event, issued in the form of a QR code, barcode, or NFC identifier.
Cashless system — a cashless payment system based on NFC technology (chip wristbands, cards) operated through the Platform, enabling payments on site at events.
Credit — prepaid funds stored in the Visitor’s digital wallet on the Platform, used for cashless payments at events. Credit is always stored on the Operator’s servers, not on the NFC medium.
Activation fee — a one-off non-refundable fee for activating an NFC medium (wristband, card), covering the cost of production and personalization. The amount of the activation fee is set by the Organizer.
Service fee — the Operator’s fee for processing the order, operating the platform, and the payment infrastructure, shown as a separate item at ticket purchase.
Event — a cultural, social, sporting, or other event organized by the Organizer through the Platform.
3. Subject and Description of the Service
3.1. Through the Ebbo.Events Platform, the Operator provides a comprehensive solution for organizing and managing events. The service includes in particular:
Creating, managing, and promoting events
Online ticket sales with a choice of various price categories
A cashless payment system (NFC wristbands and cards) for on-site cashless payments
Top-up and management of digital credit
Management of vendors and stalls at events
A point-of-sale (POS) terminal system for stall sales
Real-time analytics, reporting, and revenue overviews
Mobile applications for visitors, organizers, vendors, and staff
An entry control (check-in) system using QR codes and NFC
3.2. Who sells and who is the contractual partner
The Operator (Ebbo.Events / EBBO s.r.o.) is a technological tool — a commission agent under Section 2455 et seq. of the Civil Code. The seller of tickets and the Visitor’s contractual partner for attendance at the Event is always the Organizer.
The contract for attendance at the Event is concluded directly between the Organizer and the Visitor. The Operator brokers the sale in the name and on the account of the Organizer.
The Operator is not the seller of tickets nor the promoter of third-party Events — it acts solely as a technical tool for brokering the sale, recording transactions, and settlement.
The Organizer sets the ticket price, the terms of attendance, the rules for refunds, and is responsible for the course of the Event and for fulfilling obligations toward Visitors.
The funds from ticket sales belong to the Organizer from the moment they are received, who then pays them out to the Operator via a payment intermediary (Stripe / bank). The Operator does not hold or manage Visitors’ money beyond the scope of the technical recording of sales.
From the funds received, the Operator deducts only the agreed service (commission) fee and any payment-gateway transaction fees, on the basis of a commission agreement with the Organizer.
This model corresponds to Section 3(3)(b) of Act No. 370/2017 Coll., on Payment Services — the Operator’s activity is not a payment service and is not subject to a Czech National Bank licence.
4. Registration and User Account
4.1. Using certain Platform services requires registration and the creation of a user account. By registering, the User undertakes to:
Provide true, accurate, current, and complete registration details
Maintain and keep their registration details up to date
Keep their password and account access credentials confidential
Bear full responsibility for all activities carried out through their account
Inform the Operator without delay of any unauthorized use of the account
4.2. You may fully use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old or have full legal capacity. Persons under 18 may use the Service only with the consent of a legal guardian.
4.3. The Operator reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel a user account in the event of a breach of these GTC or applicable law.
4.4. The User has the right to request the deletion of their account and personal data at any time (the right to be forgotten under Article 17 GDPR). The request can be submitted through the account settings or by email to [email protected]. Account identification data will be anonymized within 30 days of verifying the requester’s identity. Accounting documents and invoices (Section 35 of the Accounting Act and Section 31 of the VAT Act) are retained for the statutory period of 10 years, but will be kept under a pseudonym with no link back to the individual. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
5. Purchasing Tickets
5.1. Contractual relationship and basic rules
The contract for attendance at the Event is concluded between the Visitor and the Organizer; the Operator acts solely as a sales intermediary.
The ticket price is set by the Organizer and is displayed including all fees and taxes before the order is completed.
The Operator’s service fee may be added to the ticket price and is always shown before the purchase is completed as a separate item.
The final price shown on the order-completion button includes all fees — no further hidden costs will be charged.
The terms for returning, exchanging, and refunding tickets are set by the Event Organizer.
Resale of tickets may be prohibited or restricted by the Organizer.
5.2. Steps to a binding purchase
A binding ticket purchase takes place in the following steps:
Ticket selection: The Visitor chooses the type and number of tickets on the Event page.
Entering details: The Visitor enters the required personal data (first name, surname, email, and possibly a phone number and other data required by the Organizer).
Consent to terms: The Visitor confirms consent to these GTC and any specific terms of the Organizer by completing the purchase (clicking the order-completion button).
Completing payment: The Visitor chooses a payment method and completes the payment. The order becomes binding upon successful processing of the payment by the payment gateway.
Confirmation: After successful payment, the Visitor receives an order confirmation and ticket at the email address provided at purchase. The ticket is also available in the Ebbo.Events mobile app after signing in.
5.3. Ticket validity
A ticket is valid from the moment the payment is successfully completed and the confirmation is delivered to the Visitor’s email. The ticket entitles the holder to a single entry to the relevant Event, unless otherwise stated for a specific Event (e.g. a multi-day pass).
6. Delivery, Validity, and Transferability of Tickets
6.1. Ticket delivery methods
The ticket is delivered to the Visitor in electronic form. The specific form depends on the type of Event:
QR code by email: After completing the purchase, the Visitor receives an email with a unique QR code. This QR code serves as the ticket.
QR code in the app: The ticket with a QR code is automatically available in the Ebbo.Events mobile app after signing in.
NFC wristband/card: At Events with a cashless system, the ticket may be linked to an NFC medium issued on site. In that case the NFC medium serves both as the ticket and as a means of payment.
Printed ticket: The Visitor may print the QR code from the email or app. The printed and digital versions have the same validity.
6.2. Valid proof for entry to the Event
Entry to the Event is granted upon presentation of a valid identifier:
QR code — scanned from the phone screen, a printed ticket, or the Ebbo.Events app
NFC medium — by tapping the wristband or card on the reader at the entrance (at Events with a cashless system)
Name on the ticket + identity document — the Organizer may require verification of the Visitor’s identity (ID card, passport), especially for personalized tickets
6.2.1. Each ticket is valid only for a single entry (unless otherwise stated for the Event). After the first scan, the ticket is marked as used and re-entry on the same ticket is not possible.
6.3. Ticket transferability
Ticket transferability depends on the terms set by the Organizer for the given Event.
If the Organizer allows transfer, the Visitor may pass the ticket to another person through the Platform (the "Transfer ticket" function in the app or on the web).
For personalized tickets (with a name), a name change on the ticket may be required. The Visitor requests the change via the order settings on the Platform or by contacting [email protected]. The Organizer may prohibit or restrict transferability and name changes (e.g. for capacity or security reasons).
For NFC wristbands tied to a specific person, a change cannot be made after activation on site, unless the Organizer provides otherwise.
7. Cashless Payment System, Activation, and Credit
7.1. NFC medium activation
On the first credit top-up, the Visitor is issued an NFC medium (wristband or card) and charged a one-off activation fee. The amount of the activation fee is set by the Organizer (typically CZK 30).
The activation fee covers the cost of production, personalization, and setup of the NFC chip. This fee is non-refundable and is not part of the Visitor’s credit.
The activation fee is always shown as a separate item before payment is confirmed.
The NFC medium remains the property of the Organizer, unless stated otherwise.
7.2. Topping up and using credit
Credit can be topped up via online payment on the Platform, in the mobile app, or on site at the Event in cash or by card. Payments are received by the Organizer; the Operator provides only the technical infrastructure for recording transactions.
Credit serves solely as a technical record of prepaid goods and services with the Organizer — for the cashless purchase of food, drinks, merchandise, and similar offerings at the relevant Event, from the Organizer or from Vendors cooperating with it.
The record of the credit balance is kept by the Operator in its database on behalf of the Organizer — for recording and settlement purposes. The owner of the corresponding funds is the Organizer. This is not electronic money, a deposit, or safekeeping within the meaning of the Payment Services Act or the Banking Act.
Damage to or loss of the wristband does not mean loss of entitlement to unspent credit — the record remains in the Operator’s database and can be transferred to a new NFC medium.
Credit is not freely transferable between users unless the Organizer expressly allows it.
Transaction history is accessible through the user account on the Platform and in the mobile app.
7.3. Refund of unspent credit
Refund of unspent credit is free of charge. No handling fees apply to it.
The Visitor has the right to a refund of unspent credit under the following conditions:
When: A refund can be requested after the Event ends, within 30 calendar days of the Event’s end date.
How: Sign in to the Ebbo.Events app or the ebbo.events website. In the "Wallet" section, choose "Request balance refund" and enter your IBAN (bank account number) and the account holder’s name.
Processing time: The request is handled by the Organizer, who owns the funds. The Operator provides the technical interface for submitting the request and, on behalf of the Organizer, makes the payment via a payment intermediary. The refund is usually initiated within 5 business days of approval; the crediting time depends on the Visitor’s bank.
Fees: A credit refund is free of charge. The NFC medium activation fee is non-refundable.
7.3.5. After the 30-day period, we recommend contacting [email protected] — the Operator will assess individual requests and endeavour to find a solution. Unspent credit is not automatically forfeited; the Visitor has the right to its refund in accordance with applicable law.
7.4. Non-functioning or damaged NFC wristband
On site: Go to the nearest info point or top-up stand. Staff will transfer your credit to a new wristband immediately.
After the event: Contact [email protected]. The record of your unspent credit is kept in the Operator’s database and a refund of the corresponding funds (held by the Organizer) can be requested even without a functioning wristband.
7.5. Loss or theft of the NFC medium
In the event of loss or theft of the NFC medium, contact the Organizer on site or the Operator through the Platform without delay. The Operator will block the lost medium and transfer the recorded credit to a new medium. The Operator is responsible for the security of the database and technical infrastructure (encryption, backups, access control); responsibility for the funds corresponding to the credit lies with the Organizer as their owner. Neither the Operator nor the Organizer is liable for transactions carried out by a third party before the loss is reported.
7.6. Legal nature of cashless credit
Cashless credit is a technical record of prepaid goods and services with the Organizer within the closed network of a specific Event. It is not electronic money, a deposit, safekeeping, or an activity subject to a Czech National Bank licence.
Cashless credit is a technical record of the Organizer’s obligation to supply the Visitor with prepaid goods/services at a specific Event. At the same time it meets the features of a specific payment instrument within a limited network under Section 3(3)(k) of Act No. 370/2017 Coll., on Payment Services (the "PSA") — credit can be used solely to purchase goods and services from a defined set of Vendors at a specific Event, not for transfers between persons or for payments outside the Event.
For that reason, the provisions on electronic money (Section 4 of the PSA) do not apply to cashless credit. Neither the Organizer nor the Operator needs a licence from the Czech National Bank to issue or manage it.
The Operator is a technological tool — a commission agent under Section 2455 et seq. of the Civil Code. It brokers the sale and records transactions in the name and on the account of the Organizer and does not hold Visitors’ funds on its own account. This activity is not a payment service within the meaning of Section 3(3)(b) of the PSA and is not subject to a licence.
The Organizer regularly monitors the volume of credit issued and, if it approaches the limits of the limited network (EUR 1 million total annual transaction volume or EUR 150 per individual holder), takes appropriate steps including notifying the Czech National Bank in accordance with Section 3(4) of the PSA.
The Visitor acknowledges that credit does not bear interest and does not have the character of a deposit within the meaning of the Banking Act.
In the event of the Organizer’s insolvency, the Visitor has the standard position of a creditor with a claim in the amount of the unspent credit. The Operator will provide the Visitor with a technical transaction statement for the purpose of asserting the claim.
7.7. Handling of unspent balance after the refund period
At Events where the Organizer announces this in advance, the following regime applies to unspent balances:
14-day refund period (free): The Visitor has 14 days from the end of the Event to request a refund of the entire remaining balance on the NFC medium. Within this period the balance is refunded free of charge and in full (procedure per Art. 7.3).
After 14 days: An unspent balance for which no refund was requested within the period remains with the Organizer as the owner of the corresponding funds (Art. 7.2) — it serves to cover the costs of operating the closed payment network. A separate tax document is automatically issued for the payout to the Organizer.
Optional cap: The Organizer may limit the regime only to small balances up to a pre-announced threshold; balances above this threshold then remain refundable on request even after the period (Art. 7.3.5 applies mutatis mutandis).
Transparency: The length of the period and any cap are communicated to the Visitor in advance, before credit activation. If the Organizer does not announce this regime, the balance is not forfeited and Art. 7.3 applies exclusively.
8. Fees and Prices
8.1. Ticket price structure
The final price shown to the Visitor before completing the purchase consists of:
Ticket price — set by the Organizer, includes VAT (unless stated otherwise). This amount belongs to the Organizer.
Service fee — the Operator’s fee for processing the order, operating the platform, the payment infrastructure, and electronic ticket delivery. The service fee belongs exclusively to the Operator and is shown as a separate item.
Payment-gateway transaction fee — a fee for processing the online payment, if charged. It is always shown before the order is completed.
8.1.1. All fees are shown transparently before the order is completed, in accordance with EU Directive 2019/2161 (Omnibus). The final price on the purchase-completion button includes all costs — no further hidden fees will be charged.
8.2. Cashless system fees
Activation fee — a one-off non-refundable fee for the NFC medium, set by the Organizer (see Article 7.1).
Credit top-up — online top-up is free of charge. The Organizer may set a minimum top-up amount.
Credit refund — free of charge, with no handling fees (see Article 7.3).
8.3. Refund of fees
Rules for refunding fees when a ticket is refunded:
Ticket price: Refunded in full if the refund is approved by the Organizer or if the Event is cancelled.
Service fee: If the Event is cancelled by the Organizer, the service fee is refunded in full. For a voluntary cancellation by the Visitor (where cancellation is allowed by the Organizer), the refund of the service fee depends on the terms of the specific Event.
Transaction fee: The payment-gateway transaction fee is generally not refunded on a refund, as it is charged by the payment-gateway provider for processing the transaction.
NFC activation fee: Non-refundable — it covers the cost of production and personalization of the NFC medium.
8.4. Payment methods
Online card payment — Visa, Mastercard; processed through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland).
Apple Pay / Google Pay — mobile wallets.
Bank transfer / SEPA — as specified for the particular Event.
Payment by credit — the Visitor’s digital wallet within the platform.
Cash payment — on site, where the Organizer allows it.
NFC cashless payment — on site (cashless credit).
8.4.1. The Operator does not process or store payment card data (card number, CVV, expiry). All card transactions are processed through Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., a certified PCI DSS Level 1 acquirer fully compliant with PSD2 (the Payment Services Directive) and GDPR.
8.4.2. Strong Customer Authentication (SCA / 3D Secure): in accordance with PSD2 (EU Directive 2015/2366), transactions over EUR 30 are always authenticated using two factors (SMS code, banking app, fingerprint). SCA is provided by the Visitor’s bank; neither the Operator nor the Organizer has access to the authentication data.
8.4.3. Prices on the Platform are stated including VAT at the statutory rate (currently 21% for most goods and services, 12% for admission to cultural events under Section 47 of the VAT Act), unless expressly stated otherwise.
9. Cancellation, Refunds, and Changes to an Event
9.1. Withdrawal from the contract (statutory rules)
In accordance with Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code, a consumer has no right to withdraw from a contract for leisure-time services if the trader provides such services on a specified date. This provision applies in particular to tickets for Events with a fixed date.
For services where the right of withdrawal is not excluded by law, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. The withdrawal must be sent in writing to the email address: [email protected].
9.2. Ticket cancellation by the Visitor
Before the Event starts: The possibility of cancellation and the refund terms are set by the Organizer. Information about cancellation terms is provided on the Event page before purchase.
During the Event: Cancellation of a ticket after the Event has started is generally not possible, unless the Organizer provides otherwise.
After the Event ends: Cancellation of a ticket after the Event ends is not possible.
9.3. Cancellation of the Event by the Organizer
In the event of complete cancellation of the Event by the Organizer:
The Visitor has the right to a refund of the full ticket price including the service fee.
The refund is provided by the Organizer in cooperation with the Operator. The Operator will provide full assistance with the technical processing of the refund.
Funds will be refunded by the same payment method used to pay for the ticket, unless the parties agree otherwise.
The refund period is generally 14 business days from notification of the Event cancellation.
9.4. Change of date, programme, or line-up
If the Organizer changes the terms of the Event:
Change of date: If the Event is moved to another date, the Organizer is obliged to offer the Visitor the option of a refund (if the new date does not suit them) or to keep the ticket valid for the new date.
Change of programme or line-up: Minor changes to the programme or line-up (e.g. replacing one performer) generally do not give rise to a right to a refund. In the event of a substantial change to the programme that fundamentally changes the nature of the Event, the Visitor has the right to request a refund from the Organizer.
Change of venue: If the venue changes in a way that fundamentally affects access to the Event, the Visitor has the right to request a refund.
9.4.1. The Organizer is obliged to inform Visitors of changes through the Platform and/or by email without undue delay.
9.5. Method and period of refunds
A refund is made by the same payment method used to pay for the ticket (card payment → refund to card, bank transfer → refund to account).
The standard period for processing a refund is 5–14 business days from approval of the request. The actual time of crediting depends on processing by the Visitor’s bank.
In the case of a refund due to Event cancellation, the Operator also refunds the service fee (see Article 8.3).
The Visitor receives confirmation of the refund processing by email.
9.6. Refundable ticket (optional service)
Where the Organizer allows it for a given Event, the Visitor may choose the optional add-on service "Refundable ticket" at purchase. This is a service, not insurance within the meaning of the Insurance Act; the Visitor pays a one-off fee for it set as a percentage of the ticket price.
What the service provides: By paying the fee, the Visitor obtains the right to request a refund of the ticket price even in cases where standard cancellation under Art. 9.2 would otherwise not be possible — typically for an unused ticket before the Event starts, under the terms agreed with the Organizer.
What is refunded: The ticket price is refunded. The fee for the "Refundable ticket" service is non-refundable — it represents the price for the agreed refund option and is not returned either when the refund is used or if the Visitor does not use it.
How to claim the refund: The Visitor submits the refund request through the Platform (My Orders section). The refund is approved and paid by the Organizer, who provides the service and bears its cost and risk.
Difference from standard cancellation (Art. 9.2): A standard refund of admission is at the Organizer’s discretion under the terms of the specific Event and is generally not possible after the Event starts or ends. The "Refundable ticket" service, by contrast, gives the Visitor a contractual entitlement to a refund of the ticket price under the above conditions — the Visitor has paid for this option in advance.
Operator’s role: The Operator (Ebbo.Events) only technically brokers the service and charges a commission of 6% of the fee paid for its activation. The contracting party and bearer of the obligation toward the Visitor is always the Organizer.
10. Complaints, Ticket Misuse, and Security Restrictions
10.1. Who handles what
Technical problems with the platform, app, NFC wristband, or credit → handled by the Operator at [email protected] The course of the event, on-site service quality, entry conditions, stalls → handled by the Organizer (contact on the Event page)
The quality of purchased food, drink, or goods → handled by the Vendor
10.2. Complaints against the Operator
Complaints regarding the operation of the Platform and the cashless system should be sent by email to: [email protected]. The Operator will handle the complaint without undue delay, no later than within 30 days of its submission.
The Operator will provide full assistance in resolving complaints between the Visitor and the Organizer.
10.3. Lost ticket
In the event of loss or deletion of a ticket (QR code):
Sign in to the Ebbo.Events app or website — the ticket is permanently available in your account and can be re-displayed or downloaded.
If you do not have access to your account, contact [email protected] with the order number or the email used at purchase. The Operator will verify your identity and re-deliver the ticket. The Operator is not liable for the loss of a printed ticket, but the digital version always remains available in the Visitor’s account.
10.4. QR code misuse and ticket duplication
Each ticket contains a unique identifier (QR code) valid only for a single entry. After the first scan, the code is invalidated.
Sharing a QR code (screenshot, forwarded email) with a third party is at the Visitor’s own risk. If a third party uses the QR code first, the original ticket holder will not be admitted.
If you suspect misuse of a QR code (e.g. unauthorized copying), contact [email protected] without delay. The Operator may replace the invalidated QR code with a new one after verifying the Visitor’s identity. The Operator implements technical measures against ticket duplication and cloning (cryptographic signatures, single-use validity).
10.5. Ticket transfer and ban on resale
Non-commercial transfer — the Visitor may pass the ticket free of charge (or for a nominal price) to a close person only through the Platform function ("Transfer ticket"), where the Organizer allows it. The name on the ticket can be changed under Article 6.3.
Ban on commercial resale: resale of a ticket for a higher price than the original purchase price shown at purchase (including all fees) is prohibited. Tickets offered on secondary marketplaces (Viagogo, StubHub, Sbazar, classified ads) or offered at an inflated price may be invalidated by the Operator or Organizer without any right to compensation.
Ban on automated purchasing: the use of bots, scripts, or other automated tools for bulk ticket purchases for the purpose of resale is prohibited and is considered a breach of the GTC. The Operator monitors suspicious patterns and invalidates tickets obtained this way without any right to compensation.
Refund instead of resale: if the Visitor cannot attend the event, we recommend requesting a cancellation from the Organizer (per Article 9.2) or using the official ticket transfer on the platform instead of a private resale.
10.6. What to do if you believe the ticketing system has been misused
If you suspect fraud, unauthorized use of your ticket, or misuse of your payment data:
The Operator will investigate the incident and take corrective measures (blocking the suspicious ticket, replacement ticket, refund).
If a criminal offence is suspected, we recommend filing a report with the Police of the Czech Republic. The Operator will cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
10.6.1. Limitation of the Visitor’s liability: The Visitor is not liable for damage caused by misuse of the ticketing system by a third party, provided the Visitor acted with due care (e.g. did not share the QR code, reported the loss without delay). The Operator is responsible for the security of its systems and data.
10.7. Out-of-court dispute resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer has the right to turn to:
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) — www.coi.cz, which is the competent body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes
The European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR) — https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11. Organizer’s Obligations
11.1. An Organizer using the Platform’s services is responsible for the organization, content, and course of the Event. The Organizer undertakes to:
Provide accurate, truthful, and non-misleading information about the Event (date, venue, programme, line-up, capacity)
Comply with the terms of ticket sales, including return and refund terms, and inform Visitors of them before purchase
Ensure safety and hygiene at the Event venue in accordance with applicable law
Comply with all applicable laws of the Czech Republic and the European Union
Ensure the proper functioning of the cashless system on site, including a sufficient number of info points and top-up points
Properly and promptly settle all Visitor claims for refunds of unspent credit
Maintain adequate liability insurance for their Events
Process Visitors’ personal data in accordance with GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the basis of a data processing agreement concluded with the Operator
Properly fulfil tax obligations arising from income from ticket and service sales
11.2. Entry rules and restrictions
The Organizer sets the entry rules for the Event (age restriction, dress code, ban on bringing in items, etc.) and is obliged to inform Visitors of them on the Event page.
The terms for children and minors (accompaniment, discounted admission) are set by the Organizer.
Student, senior, and other discounted tickets are subject to the terms set by the Organizer (e.g. verification of a student card at entry).
The Organizer is entitled to refuse entry to persons breaching the entry rules or endangering safety.
12. Vendor’s Obligations
12.1. A Vendor using the Platform to sell goods and services at Events undertakes to:
Sell only goods and services in accordance with applicable law, in particular food-safety and hygiene standards
Comply with the pricing policy set for the given Event
Properly record all transactions through the Platform’s POS terminal
Comply with the terms of the agreement concluded with the Organizer
Bear responsibility for the quality and safety of the goods and services sold
13. Prohibited Conduct
13.1. When using the Platform, it is prohibited to:
Breach the laws of the Czech Republic and the European Union
Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Operator or third parties
Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform, its systems, or the data of other users
Engage in fraudulent conduct, including misuse of the cashless system, forging tickets, cloning NFC chips, or manipulating credit
Automatically collect data from the Platform (scraping, crawling) without the Operator’s written consent
Create multiple accounts to circumvent Platform restrictions
Misuse the credit refund system for money laundering or other illegal purposes
Resell tickets without authorization for profit contrary to the Organizer’s terms
14. Processing of Personal Data in the Ticketing Context
14.1. Legal framework
The processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, as amended.
14.2. Controller and processor
Data Controller: the Event Organizer — determines the purposes and means of processing Visitors’ personal data in connection with the specific Event.
Data Processor: EBBO s.r.o. (the Operator) — processes personal data on the Controller’s instructions and in accordance with a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
For data related to the user account on the Platform (outside a specific Event), the Controller is EBBO s.r.o.
14.3. What data is processed when purchasing a ticket
Identification data: first name, surname
Contact data: email address, phone number
Payment data: payment method type, transaction identifier (the Operator does not store complete payment card numbers — processing is provided by a certified payment gateway)
Order data: type and number of tickets, purchase date, price, order status
Cashless system data: credit balance, transaction history (top-ups, payments, refunds)
Technical data: IP address, device type, browser (for fraud prevention and security)
Other data required by the Organizer: e.g. age, membership, dietary restrictions — the scope depends on the requirements of the specific Event
14.4. Transfer and retention of data
The Visitor’s personal data is transferred to the Event Organizer to the extent necessary to organize and manage entry to the Event.
Payment service providers receive only the data necessary to process the transaction.
Data is retained for the period necessary to provide the service and fulfil legal obligations (in particular tax and accounting records — 10 years, GDPR records — 3 years after the last contact).
Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Where data is transferred outside the EU, appropriate safeguards are in place (standard contractual clauses).
14.5. Visitor’s rights
Under GDPR, the Visitor has the right to:
Access — obtain a copy of their personal data
Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure — delete personal data (the "right to be forgotten")
Restriction of processing — temporarily restrict the way data is processed
Portability — obtain data in a machine-readable format
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
Withdrawal of consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time
Complaint — lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Office for Personal Data Protection, www.uoou.cz)
14.5.1. Rights can be exercised through the account settings on the Platform, by email to [email protected], or via the support portal. The Operator will handle the request within 30 days.
14.5.2. Consent to receiving marketing communications is always separate from consent to the GTC and is not a condition for using the service.
Detailed information can be found in our Privacy Policy and on the GDPR Compliance page.
15. Liability and Technical Outages
15.1. What the Operator is responsible for
The secure storage and management of Visitors’ credit on its servers
The proper functioning of the Platform, mobile app, and cashless system
The protection of users’ personal data in accordance with GDPR
The correct processing of payments and transactions
Providing assistance in resolving complaints
The security and integrity of the ticketing system (protection against duplication and ticket forgery)
15.2. What the Operator is not responsible for
The course, quality, programme, or cancellation of the Event (the Organizer’s responsibility)
The quality of goods and services sold by Vendors on site
The safety of Visitors at the Event venue (the Organizer’s responsibility)
Customer service on site (stall staff, the Organizer’s info points)
Transactions carried out by a third party via a lost NFC medium, where the Visitor did not report the loss without delay
15.3. Technical outages and their resolution
The Operator strives for maximum availability of the Platform. In the event of a technical outage, the following applies:
Payment gateway outage: If an online payment cannot be completed, the Visitor may try the payment again later or choose an alternative payment method. On site, the option to top up credit in cash is usually available. No transaction will be carried out without the Visitor’s express confirmation — there will be no duplicate charge.
App / web outage: A ticket delivered by email (QR code) remains valid even without a working app. The Visitor can use a printed or screenshotted QR code for entry. The Operator will restore the service as quickly as possible.
Problem with the entry verification (check-in) system: The Organizer is obliged to have a backup procedure ready for verifying tickets (e.g. manual checking of a list). The Operator will provide technical support without delay. The Visitor will not be refused entry due to a technical fault of the system if they prove the ticket’s validity another way.
Cashless system outage on site: The Organizer is obliged to provide the option of cash payment as a backup. The Visitor’s credit is securely stored on the server and will be available once the system is restored.
15.4. Limitation of liability
15.4.1. The Operator is not liable for an interruption of Platform availability caused by force majeure, scheduled maintenance (of which prior notice will be given), or technical faults of third parties (hosting provider, payment gateway, internet connection).
15.4.2. The Operator’s total liability to an individual user for any claims arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount the user actually paid to the Operator over the preceding 12 months, to the extent permitted by the laws of the Czech Republic.
15.4.3. This limitation does not apply to liability for intentional conduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
16. Security and Data Protection
16.1. The Operator implements technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the Platform and the protection of users’ data, including:
Encryption of all communication between the app and the server via the HTTPS/TLS protocol
Cryptographic protection of NFC chips against cloning (HMAC authentication)
Storage of credit exclusively on the Operator’s servers (not on the NFC medium)
Regular backups of the transaction database and user data
Card payment processing through a certified payment gateway compliant with the PCI DSS standard
Monitoring of suspicious transactions and prevention of misuse (AML checks)
Cryptographic signing of ticket QR codes against forgery and duplication
16.2. The Operator undertakes to inform the affected users and the relevant supervisory authority (the Office for Personal Data Protection) without delay in the event of a personal data security breach, no later than within 72 hours of detecting the incident, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
Detailed information on security measures can be found on the Security page.
16.3. Accessibility (European Accessibility Act)
The Operator is continuously working on compliance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility requirements for products and services (EAA, effective from 28 June 2025) and its Czech adaptation — Act No. 424/2023 Coll., on the accessibility of goods and services:
The web platform and mobile applications aim for compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
The Platform supports keyboard navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA), text enlargement, high contrast, and alternative descriptions of visual elements.
Users who encounter a barrier to accessing content or a function may contact [email protected] — we will respond within 14 days and offer an alternative way of providing the service. The accessibility statement is updated at least once a year; identified shortcomings are addressed on an ongoing basis within the regular development cycle.
17. Intellectual Property Rights
17.1. All content of the Platform, including software, graphic design, texts, logos, trademarks, and databases, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights of the Operator or its licensing partners.
17.2. The User obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely to the extent necessary to use the services under these GTC.
18. Duration and Termination
18.1. The user account is established for an indefinite period. The User may cancel their account at any time via the account settings or by a written request sent to [email protected].
18.2. The Operator is entitled to suspend or cancel a user account in the event of a material breach of these GTC, after prior notice with a reasonable period for remedy (generally 7 days). In the event of a serious breach (fraud, system misuse, breach of law), the account may be suspended immediately.
18.3. After the account is terminated, the user has the right to a payout of unspent credit in accordance with the terms of Article 7 of these GTC.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
19.1. These GTC and all legal relationships arising on their basis are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
19.2. The courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising from these GTC.
19.3. Consumer disputes may be resolved out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) or the online dispute resolution platform (ODR) under Article 10.7 of these GTC.
20. Changes to the GTC
20.1. The Operator reserves the right to change or amend these GTC at any time. Users will be informed of changes to the GTC by email or by a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

21. Final Provisions
21.1. If any provision of these GTC is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
21.2. The Operator is entitled to assign its rights and obligations under these GTC to a third party, provided that such assignment does not worsen the users’ rights.
21.3. These GTC take effect on 21 April 2026 and supersede all prior arrangements between the Operator and users concerning the subject matter of these GTC.
